Espanita Tequila


Iconic tropical cocktail gets a delicious makeover and extra depth of flavor by using mellow and complex Espanita Anejo tequila instead of rum. It is a fun tequila-filled drink that features a captivating pairing of exotic sweetness of passion fruit and zesty herbal flavors of mint and lime. While it looks and tastes rather complex, it is actually quite easy to make.

In a Boston shaker, muddle 2-3 fresh mint leaves to release the flavors. Then add freshly squeezed lime juice, high quality passion fruit juice, Barenjager Honey liqueur and Espanita Anejo tequila. Stir well to combine. Add simple syrup and a large handful of ice cubes; shake vigorously for 10 to 15 seconds.

Strain the cocktail through a fine mesh strainer into a tumbler glass filled with ice cubes. Garnish with a mint sprig and serve with a straw. Cheers!
